enewsworks is a permission email marketing service. We are committed to carrying on our business and that of our clients both ethically and legally. This means that your data will be be treated as confidential and handled in the spirit of the UK Data Protection Act 1998 and the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Legislation of October 2003. If you are emailing to an audience that includes recipients in the United States we will also help you to comply with CAN-SPAM federal legislation. We will not share your data with any third parties.

In the case of business-to-consumer mailings we will not send unsolicited email on behalf of clients. As a simple legal precaution we may ask you to provide evidence that an existing list is 100% opt-in before processing the data.

There is also a commercial point to all of this: permission-based email marketing has been shown to produce a far better response rate than 'spam'.

Not only that, but over the long term, regular email contact from a trusted source serves to build trust and generate repeat sales. That frees you up to spend less money on advertising and less time worrying about where the next sale is coming from.

In short, it pays to do it right.
